Indoor budgie 4,6yrs old, sudden vomiting and weight loss and green slimy diarrhoea. Owner's other budgie no symptoms. Not exposed to wild bird droppings outdoors, says owner , but has been exposed to grass/straw that owner has taken in from outdoors.
Found what I think looks like parasite eggs in crop rinse. Sorry for bad mobile pic through microscope. Sent to lab and started with ivermectin 0,1mg/kg drop on jugular skin. Other bird not checked/treated yet. Any input ?
