Why it is good to have friends with knowledge:
I thought this was an intersex Testudo hermannii boettgeri, due to her behavior, long tail, and “thingy” coming out. No calcified eggs or stones in the coelomic cavity by rads, I’ll do ultrasound next time to assess follicles. 19 years old, housed with 3 other females. Free range indoors, which is not good, as you can see the carapace is not normal. According to owner, she’s harassing her 3 female friends and trying to mate. Has not laid eggs this time yet, but expected to later the season. I corrected diet, since owner was giving bananas and other garbage foods and her carapace is deformed. I’ll refer her for spay if she develops pre or post ovulatiry stasis. As for now, things are moving…
Anyone seen a large clitoris like this (12 cm with a tiny glans) in a T. ? It’s my first!
