Does anyone know if pine wood is okay for guinea pigs to chew on? Not as shavings, but actual wood which can be made into houses etc. Some parts of the internet say it's okay, while others say it's toxic (Pic of one of my babies for attention)
My understanding is that some guinea pigs find the aromatic oils in pine irritant to their respiratory tract ? rather than it being toxic. Although I’m happy to be corrected.
