5 year old Hermanns tortoise came out of 12 week hibernation a month ago. Eating and active like normal, but pumping front legs a bit. No discharge from eyes and nose, mouth cavity looks good. He has this pink coloring om the plastron, that the owner says has gotten better. Has a pink area on the left hind leg as well. Fecal shows moderate count of pinworms.
Cloaka is swollen. Any ideas?
What and how would you treat the pinworms?

Pumping? A certain amount of pumping is physiological. That *is* how they breathe, since they don't have a diaphragm and only have non-moving ribs, it is the only way for them to ventilate their lungs.
The pink bits on the plastron looks like normal blood vessels/perfusion to me, it is easily checked: If you press on them and they turn white, like your fingernail would when you press on it, it is normal blood vessels.
The cloaca? Difficult to say from a photo. Have you explored it digitally?
The bit that really doesn't look good is the skin on the hindleg, that looks inflamed, maybe it's rubbing against the rather sharp edge of the carapace.
Oxyurids can be treated with panacur.
