I usually treat these with lupron (Leuprorelin acetate) at 37,5 ug/budgie under 50 g BW IM q 14 days up to 3 times. If it resolves, then it’s something producing hormones. If it’s benign or low malignancy, he/she might need to repeat the series if needed, during the seasons. Otherwise it’s MRI full body, which is, I might say, kinda impractical. Also hormonal tests: these malignancies might produce a whole spectrum of sexual steroids that might not be detectable in small samples. |
