Therefore, I suggest prophylactic castration of females, if they are not breeding females. But in general, castration in Scandinavia, as I have noticed, is probably not popular due to the price. Due to the risk of anesthesia and so on ... but in Poland, where I worked 10 years with reptiles only during the breading period: April - June, I castrated at least 3-5 times a week - beards, chamaleon, iguanas. Everyone lived longer. T.ex. female chamaleo calyptratus up to 6-7 years. Here in Sweden I castrated 1 female in a year How is it even possible ... I don't know. But in my opinion, castration can lengthen and improve the lifespan of female reptiles.
Ps. In this case - looking for abnormal eggs - I also recommend castration as any situation can repeat itself. Even in 1-1.5 months. Always do an ultrasound. Bubbles are better visible on ultrasound.
PS2. Oxy can be dangere if you have follicules. Always use it with caution...
Good job and good luck
