1 year old intact male Guinea pig booked in for a nail trim today. The owner noticed these wounds/scabs two days ago. The owner hasnt seen the pig fight with his brother, or seen him biting/scratching himself. It looks to me like bite marks. Any idea why a guinea pig would bite itself? Could still be the other pig, and the owner not seen it. He has wounds on his bum and lower back. Some covered by hair, and these where some of the hair looks chewed/scratched off. Any ideas?
